If you are in downtown Annapolis, start at the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401. Head northwest on State Circle toward School St. Continue onto Main St. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto West St. Walk about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. From Church Circle, continue straight onto Maryland Ave. After 0.3 miles, turn left onto Spa Rd. and follow the signs to the Annapolis Harbor. Once you reach the harbor, you will find the Water Taxi service, which can take you to the nearest point to Washington, DC. You may need to take public transport from there.

From the City Dock in Annapolis, take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus from the bus stop located near the harbor. Look for the MTA Route 70 bus heading towards Washington, DC. The bus operates regularly, and the journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to the National Mall, which is a short walk from the General Andrew Jackson Statue. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the statue located near Lafayette Park.
