    From Antietam National Battlefield, head northeast on Sharpsburg Pike (MD-65) toward the town of Sharpsburg. Continue on MD-65 for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with US-40. Turn left onto US-40 East and follow it for approximately 9 miles. You will pass through the town of Frederick. Look for signs directing you to Urbana Pike (MD-355). Merge onto Urbana Pike (MD-355) and continue for about 2 miles. Monocacy National Battlefield will be on your right at 5201 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704.
