Car
If you are driving to Bayside Boardwalk from anywhere in Assateague Island National Seashore, start by exiting the park entrance onto MD-611 North. Continue straight for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with US-50 East. Merge onto US-50 East and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for MD-528 South towards Ocean City. Follow MD-528 South for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bayview Edgewater Ave. Turn left onto Bayview Edgewater Ave. The Bayside Boardwalk will be on your right at 207 Bayview Edgewater Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842. There is no entry fee for the boardwalk itself, but parking fees may apply depending on the time of year.

For those opting for public transportation, you can take a bus from Ocean City. Begin your journey from the Assateague Island National Seashore by taking a shuttle or local bus to the Ocean City Transit hub. From there, board the Route 1 bus towards the south. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop closest to 207 Bayview Edgewater Ave. Walk a short distance to reach the Bayside Boardwalk. Please check the schedule for bus timings as they may vary seasonally, and be aware that there may be a small fare for the bus ride.
