Head north on Assateague Island Rd (MD-611) for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Merge onto Route 50 East towards Ocean City. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with Coastal Highway (US-528). Turn left onto Coastal Highway and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto 109 N Boardwalk, where you will find the sand sculptures located on the boardwalk.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the Shore Transit Bus from Assateague Island National Seashore to Ocean City. Board the bus at the nearest stop to the entrance of the National Seashore. The bus will take you to the Ocean City bus terminal. From the terminal, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local taxi to 109 N Boardwalk, where the sand sculptures are located. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and any fare costs.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from Assateague Island to Ocean City. Start from the entrance of Assateague Island National Seashore and follow Assateague Island Rd (MD-611) north to Route 50. There are bike paths along the way. Once you reach Route 50, continue towards Ocean City, where you can park your bicycle at bike racks available along the boardwalk. The sand sculptures are located at 109 N Boardwalk.
