Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Assateague Island National Seashore. Take the main road (Assateague Island Road) and head north. Follow the road until you exit the park and merge onto MD-611 North. Continue on MD-611 for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Turn left onto Route 50 East and continue for approximately 7 miles. Merge onto Coastal Highway (US-528) heading south towards Ocean City. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Atlantic Avenue. Continue on Atlantic Avenue for about 1 mile, and you will reach the North End of Boardwalk at 2709 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking the Assateague Island Shuttle Service, which operates from various stops within the park. Get off at the last stop before the park exit. From there, you can either walk or wait for a local bus service (Ocean City Shuttle) that operates along Coastal Highway. Board the Ocean City Shuttle heading north and get off at the stop closest to Atlantic Avenue. From there, it's a short walk to the North End of Boardwalk at 2709 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842.
