Car
From the entrance of Assateague Island National Seashore, head northwest on MD-611. Continue straight for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Turn left onto Route 50 and follow it for about 10 miles. Take the exit towards Coastal Highway/US-1 South. Merge onto Coastal Highway and continue for about 4 miles. Turn right onto Bayview Edgewater Ave. The Bayside Boardwalk will be on your right at 207 Bayview Edgewater Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842.

If you are using public transportation, take the shuttle bus from the Assateague Island Visitor Center. The shuttle typically runs during the peak season. Ask the driver for a stop near Coastal Highway. Once you disembark, you can either walk for approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Bayside Boardwalk or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to cover the remaining distance.

For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bicycle at Assateague Island National Seashore. Start from the visitor center and head northwest on MD-611. Follow the same directions as for cars. There are bike lanes along Coastal Highway. Remember to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. It will take around 30-40 minutes to bike the 10 miles to the Bayside Boardwalk.
