Public Transit
From Baltimore, take the Light RailLink toward Hunt Valley and get off at the Camden Yards station. Transfer to the MARC Train (Penn Line) at the nearby Baltimore Arena station. Board the train heading to Washington, D.C., and get off at the Annapolis station. Once in Annapolis, you can take a local bus (Route 70) or a taxi to reach 19 Maryland Ave. The Hammond-Harwood House will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Catch the MTA Maryland Bus #70 from the Baltimore Downtown area, departing from the Baltimore Arena stop. This bus will take you directly to Annapolis. Ride until you reach the stop near the Maryland State House. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to 19 Maryland Ave, where the Hammond-Harwood House is located. Follow the signs toward the historic district for a scenic route.

If you are already in Annapolis, you can walk to the Hammond-Harwood House. From the Maryland State House, head southwest on State Circle, then turn right onto Maryland Ave. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach 19 Maryland Ave. The house will be on your left.
