  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    If you're near the Baltimore Convention Center or the Inner Harbor area, head to the nearest Light RailLink station, which is the 'Convention Center' stop. Board the Light Rail heading towards Hunt Valley. After about 5 stops, get off at the 'Camden Yards' station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Maryland Science Center. Exit the station and head southeast on W Camden St toward S Howard St. Turn left onto S Howard St and then right onto E Lee St, which will take you directly to the Maryland Science Center at 601 Light St.

  • Public Transit - Metro Subway

    If you're near the Metro Subway, board any train heading towards Johns Hopkins Hospital. Get off at the 'Charles Center' station. Once you exit the station, head south on Charles St toward W Baltimore St. Continue on Charles St until you reach E Lombard St, then turn left. Walk straight until you reach Light St, then turn right. The Maryland Science Center will be on your left at 601 Light St.

    If you are already in the Inner Harbor area, the Maryland Science Center is within walking distance. Start at the Inner Harbor promenade and walk south along Light St. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you'll arrive at the Maryland Science Center located at 601 Light St. Look for the large building with the planetarium dome on top.

    Find the nearest bus stop and check the schedule for the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) buses. Board the number 1 or 3 bus, both of which service the Inner Harbor area. After a few stops, ask the driver for the stop closest to the Maryland Science Center, and get off. You will be just a short walk away from the center at 601 Light St.
