From Bethesda, head to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for about 15 minutes and get off at the Farragut North Station. Once you exit the station, walk east on K St NW for two blocks, then turn right onto 16th St NW. Continue walking south for about 5 minutes until you reach Lafayette Square, which is on the corner of Pennsylvania Ave NW and 16th St NW.

From downtown Bethesda, locate the bus stop on Wisconsin Ave. Take the 10A or 10B Metrobus towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop at 16th St NW and K St NW. From there, walk south along 16th St NW for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Lafayette Square, located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave NW and 16th St NW.
