From there, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt or the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Get off at the next stop, L'Enfant Plaza. Once you exit the station, walk northwest towards Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 10 minutes until you reach the Old Post Office Pavilion at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

Locate a bus stop near your current location in Bethesda. Take the Ride On Bus #46 towards Rockville via FDA/White Flint. Ride for about 25 minutes to the Rockville Metro Station. From there, take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt or the Green Line towards Branch Avenue and get off at L'Enfant Plaza. Walk northwest for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the Old Post Office Pavilion.

If you are near the Bethesda Row area, you can take a scenic walk to the Old Post Office Pavilion. Head south on Woodmont Avenue, then turn left onto Elm Street. Continue walking until you reach Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right and head south until you reach the Bethesda Metro Station. From there, follow the Metro directions above, or you can continue walking down Wisconsin Avenue. Walk about 1.5 miles south until you reach the National Mall area.
