    If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the Billy Goat Trail Section C located at 38.9713° N, 77.1986° W in Potomac, MD. From Washington, D.C., take the George Washington Parkway north and merge onto I-495 N. Continue on I-495 N and take exit 39A to merge onto MD-190 W (River Road). Follow MD-190 W for approximately 6 miles, then turn left onto MacArthur Blvd. After about 1 mile, you will find the parking area for the Billy Goat Trail on your right, near the Great Falls Park entrance. Note that there is a parking fee of about $20 per vehicle for the Great Falls Park.

    To reach Billy Goat Trail Section C via public transportation, you can start by taking the Metro to the Grosvenor-Strathmore Station on the Red Line.
