From the main entrance of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, head south on Key Wallace Drive. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with MD-16. Turn left onto MD-16 and proceed for approximately 4 miles. When you reach Nanticoke, turn right onto Red Hill Lane. Roaring Point Park will be on your left after about 1 mile. Look for the park entrance sign.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. However, if you are near Cambridge, Maryland, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Roaring Point Park. The distance from Cambridge to the park is about 20 miles. Make sure to confirm with your driver to take you to Red Hill Lane, Nanticoke, MD 21840. This will typically cost between $30 and $50 depending on traffic and time of day.

If you enjoy cycling, you can bike to Roaring Point Park from Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Take Key Wallace Drive south for about 7 miles, then turn left onto MD-16. Continue on MD-16 until you reach Red Hill Lane, where you will turn right. The total distance is roughly 12 miles. Be cautious as some sections of the road may not have dedicated bike lanes.
