    If you're driving, start by getting onto the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD-295) from any location in the Capital Region. Head south towards Washington, D.C. Merge onto the I-295 S and continue until you reach the exit for I-695 W. After merging onto I-695 W, take the exit toward George Washington Parkway. Stay on the George Washington Parkway until you reach the exit for Memorial Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs for the Tidal Basin. Continue on 23rd St NW and turn left onto 22nd St NW. The Spanish Steps will be on your right at 1725 22nd St NW. There is street parking available, but it may be limited.

    To reach the Spanish Steps using public transportation, start by locating the nearest Metro station in the Capital Region. Take the Metro's Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown to the Red Line. Board the Red Line train towards Glenmont and disembark at the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro station. From there, exit the station and walk south on Connecticut Ave NW until you reach the intersection with 22nd St NW. Turn left onto 22nd St NW, and the Spanish Steps will be a short walk ahead at 1725 22nd St NW. The walk should take approximately 15 minutes.
