Getting There

• Car

Matapeake Park will be on your left, at 1112 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666. Look for the park entrance signage.

• Public Transportation

  While there are limited public transportation options directly to Matapeake Park, you can take a bus to the nearest major town, Stevensville. From Annapolis, you can catch a bus to Stevensville (check local schedules for specific routes). Once in Stevensville, you will need to use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) or a taxi to reach Matapeake Park, which is about 3 miles away. Ensure you have a rideshare app installed on your phone for convenience.

  For those who prefer biking, if you're staying in Stevensville, you can bike to Matapeake Park. Start from the center of Stevensville and head south on Route 8.   If you are already in Stevensville and staying nearby, walking to Matapeake Park is an option. From the center of Stevensville, head south on Route 8 and then turn left onto Romancoke Road. It's about a 1-hour walk covering roughly 3 miles. Wear comfortable shoes and be mindful of traffic along Route 8.
