To reach Sachs Covered Bridge from downtown Frederick, take the TransIT bus route that goes towards Gettysburg. Board the bus at the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 South East St. Make sure to check the schedule for the right timings. The bus will take you directly to Gettysburg. Once you arrive at the Gettysburg Bus Station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Waterworks Rd. If walking, head south on Baltimore St, continue on to Steinwehr Ave, and then follow Waterworks Rd until you reach the bridge.

Once you have your bike, head west towards the Monocacy National Battlefield, then follow the bike-friendly routes leading to Gettysburg.
