Public Transit - Bus
From the Frederick Transit Center, take the 'Frederick County Transit' bus route towards Westminster. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Westminster Park & Ride' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 miles to Serpent Ridge Vineyard. Head south on MD-27 (Cranberry Rd), then turn right onto Nicodemus Rd. The vineyard will be on your left at 2962 Nicodemus Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one from a local shop in Frederick. Start your journey by heading south on MD-85 (Buckeystown Pike) towards Westminster. After about 10 miles, turn left onto Nicodemus Rd. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and Serpent Ridge Vineyard will be on your left at 2962 Nicodemus Rd. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to Serpent Ridge Vineyard. Start from the Frederick City Hall located at 101 N Court St. Head south on N Court St towards E Patrick St. Continue onto S Market St and then take the left onto MD-85 (Buckeystown Pike). After about 2 miles, turn right onto MD-27 (Cranberry Rd) and then continue for another 3 miles. Turn left onto Nicodemus Rd, and Serpent Ridge Vineyard will be on your left at 2962 Nicodemus Rd. Note that this is a long walk, so be prepared with water and comfortable shoes.
