Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Frederick, you can take the Frederick County Transit Route 50 towards Thurmont. Board the bus at the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 South East Street. The bus will take you directly to Thurmont. Once you arrive in Thurmont, get off at the stop closest to Auburn Road. From there, walk approximately 0.7 miles (about 15 minutes) west along Main Street, then turn left onto Auburn Road. Springfield Manor Winery Distillery Brewery will be on your right at 11836 Auburn Rd.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Frederick. Head north on Market Street from the downtown area, then follow the signs to the Frederick to Thurmont bike trail. The trail will take you directly towards Thurmont. Once you reach Thurmont, navigate towards Main Street, then take a left onto Auburn Road. Springfield Manor Winery Distillery Brewery is located at 11836 Auburn Rd, about 1 mile down the road on your right.

• Walking

  For adventurous tourists, walking from Frederick to Thurmont is possible, though it’s a longer journey. Start at the Frederick City Hall located at 101 N Court St. Head north on Court Street and follow it until it turns into 7th Street. Continue until you reach Route 15, then follow the pedestrian path alongside the highway. Walk north towards Thurmont, which is about 12 miles away. Once you enter Thurmont, navigate towards Main Street and turn left onto Auburn Road. Springfield Manor Winery Distillery Brewery will be on your right at 11836 Auburn Rd.
