From the center of Frederick, you can take the Frederick County Transit Route 50 towards Thurmont. Board the bus at the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 South East Street. The bus will take you directly to Thurmont. Once you arrive in Thurmont, get off at the stop closest to Auburn Road. From there, walk approximately 0.7 miles (about 15 minutes) west along Main Street, then turn left onto Auburn Road.
