Tattered Flag Tap Room: A Taste of History in Gettysburg

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in downtown Frederick, start at the intersection of Market Street and Patrick Street. Head south on Market Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with East Church Street. Turn left onto East Church Street and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. This will bring you to the Frederick MARC Train Station. From there, take the MARC train towards Washington, D.C. and get off at the Union Station. From Union Station, transfer to the Amtrak train heading towards Harrisburg. Disembark at Gettysburg Station. After getting off the train, it's a short 15-minute walk to Tattered Flag Tap Room. Head southwest on Carlisle Street, turn right onto Steinwehr Avenue, and you will find the tap room at 45 Steinwehr Ave.

• Public Transit

  From the center of Frederick, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take the TransIT bus service (Route 60) heading towards the Frederick MARC Train Station. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the MARC station, purchase a ticket for the train to Gettysburg. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. When you arrive in Gettysburg, exit the train and walk south on Carlisle Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Steinwehr Avenue. Turn right on Steinwehr Avenue, and Tattered Flag Tap Room will be on your left at 45 Steinwehr Ave.
