    If you're already in downtown Gaithersburg, start at the Gaithersburg City Hall on S. Summit Ave. Head north on S. Summit Ave towards E. Diamond Ave. Turn right onto E. Diamond Ave and continue until you reach the intersection with N. Frederick Ave. Cross N. Frederick Ave and follow the signs to the Capital Crescent Trail entrance, which is a short walk from there.

    From the Gaithersburg MARC Train Station, you can take the Ride On Bus #55 towards the Rockville Metro Station. Get off at the stop at N. Frederick Ave and E. Diamond Ave. From there, walk north along N. Frederick Ave, then turn right onto E. Diamond Ave. The entrance to the Capital Crescent Trail will be just ahead on your left.
