Public Bus
To reach Culp's Hill Observation Tower in Gettysburg from Hagerstown, start by taking the MTA Maryland Route 40 bus towards Baltimore. Get off at the intersection of Route 40 and I-70. From there, transfer to the Greyhound bus service heading towards Gettysburg. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gettysburg bus station, walk northeast on E. Railroad Street toward N. Washington Street. Continue on N. Washington Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Gettysburg National Military Park visitor center. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Culp's Hill Observation Tower, which is approximately a 10-minute ride away.

Take the MARC Train from Hagerstown to the Brunswick stop. Once you arrive at Brunswick, transfer to a local bus or taxi service to reach Gettysburg.
