From downtown Hagerstown, walk to the Hagerstown Transit bus stop located at 100 E Franklin St. Take the MTA Maryland Route 70 bus heading towards Gettysburg. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gettysburg Visitor Center, transfer to the Gettysburg Trolley which will take you to the Devil's Den stop. The Devil's Den is a short walk from the trolley stop.

Head east on E Washington St toward S Potomac St, then turn left onto S Potomac St. Continue straight for about 5 miles until you reach the Gettysburg National Military Park. Continue walking for about 7 miles until you reach Gettysburg. Upon arriving, follow the signs for the Gettysburg National Military Park, and make your way to Devil's Den. This walk could take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
