From downtown Hagerstown, walk to the Hagerstown Transit bus stop located at 100 E Franklin St. Take the MTA Maryland Route 70 bus heading towards Gettysburg. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gettysburg Visitor Center, transfer to the Gettysburg Trolley which will take you to the Devil's Den stop. The Devil's Den is a short walk from the trolley stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Hagerstown. Head east on E Washington St toward S Potomac St, then turn left onto S Potomac St. Continue straight for about 5 miles until you reach the Gettysburg National Military Park. Follow the park's signage to Devil's Den, which is located off Sickles Ave. The ride will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

For the adventurous traveler, consider walking. Start at the Hagerstown City Park, head east along E Washington St until you reach S Potomac St. Follow S Potomac St as it turns into MD Route 65. Continue walking for about 7 miles until you reach Gettysburg. Upon arriving, follow the signs for the Gettysburg National Military Park, and make your way to Devil's Den. This walk could take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
