Public Bus
To reach J&P Winery & Vineyard located at 48 Baltimore St, Gettysburg, PA from central Hagerstown, start by making your way to the Hagerstown Transit bus stop. You can take the 50 or 51 bus towards Gettysburg. After approximately 45 minutes of travel, you will arrive at Gettysburg. Once you get off the bus, head south on Baltimore St. The winery is located on your left at 48 Baltimore St.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental services in Hagerstown. Head towards the western side of the city and follow Baltimore St northbound. The ride is approximately 12 miles and will take around an hour. Keep an eye out for bike lanes and traffic. Upon reaching Gettysburg, continue on Baltimore St until you reach 48 Baltimore St, where the winery is located.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can plan a day trip to Gettysburg by walking along the scenic routes. From central Hagerstown, head northwest towards the Washington County Agricultural Education Center, then follow the signs towards Gettysburg. This trek is about 12 miles and may take about 4 hours. Once you enter Gettysburg, make your way to Baltimore St, and the winery will be at 48 Baltimore St on your left.
