From central Hagerstown, head to the nearest bus stop on Franklin Street. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Hagerstown Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, transfer to the Route 2 bus towards Gettysburg. Stay on the bus until you reach the Gettysburg stop on Waterworks Road. From there, it's a short walk to Sachs Covered Bridge, which is located just a few minutes away.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in downtown Hagerstown. Head north on North Potomac Street, then take a left onto West Church Street. Continue straight, following Route 11 North towards Gettysburg. The ride will be scenic, and after approximately 10 miles, you will reach Waterworks Road. Turn left, and Sachs Covered Bridge will be on your right.
