To reach the Three Saws Trailhead from downtown Hagerstown, you can take the MTA Maryland bus service. Start at the Hagerstown Transit Center located at 100 E Franklin St. Catch the Route 60 bus heading towards Frederick. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the stop on W Patrick St near the intersection with Hamburg Rd. From there, walk about 0.5 miles north on Hamburg Rd, and you will see the Three Saws Trailhead on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Hagerstown. Start at the Hagerstown City Park, located at 501 Virginia Ave. From the park, head east on Virginia Ave towards E Washington St. Turn left onto E Washington St, then take a right onto N Potomac St, which will lead you out of the city towards Frederick. Follow the bike route signs to Hamburg Rd, where you will find the Three Saws Trailhead at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd after about a 10-mile ride.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous and physically fit, you can walk to the Three Saws Trailhead. Start in Hagerstown’s downtown area at the Hagerstown City Hall, located at 1 E Franklin St. Walk north on N Potomac St, which turns into MD-65 N. Continue walking for about 6 miles, following MD-65 N until you reach Hamburg Rd. Turn left onto Hamburg Rd, and the Three Saws Trailhead will be on your left, just a short walk down the road.
