From Laurel, you can take the Prince George's County Ride-On Bus Route 17 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, take the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Transfer at L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station to the Yellow Line towards Mt. Vernon Sq/7th St-Convention Center. Disembark at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Finally, transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Farragut North Metro Station. The DAR Museum is a short walk from there, located at 1776 D St NW.
