Get off at the 'Union Station' stop. From Union Station, walk to the nearby Metro Red Line and take the train towards Glenmont. Get off at the 'Gallery Place-Chinatown' station and transfer to the Metro Blue or Yellow Line towards Virginia. Get off at 'L'Enfant Plaza' and then transfer to the Metro Orange Line towards New Carrollton. Get off at 'Smithsonian' station. From there, walk east on Independence Ave SW, then turn left onto 7th St SE, and you will reach Eastern Market.

Get off at 'L'Enfant Plaza' station, then switch to the Metro Orange Line towards New Carrollton.
