    From Laurel, head to the Laurel Town Center by walking towards the Laurel MARC Train Station. Once at the station, take the MARC train heading towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the 'Union Station' stop. From Union Station, walk to the nearby Metro Red Line and take the train towards Glenmont. Get off at the 'Gallery Place-Chinatown' station and transfer to the Metro Blue or Yellow Line towards Virginia. Get off at 'L'Enfant Plaza' and then transfer to the Metro Orange Line towards New Carrollton. Get off at 'Smithsonian' station. From there, walk east on Independence Ave SW, then turn left onto 7th St SE, and you will reach Eastern Market.

    From Laurel, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Prince George's County Bus Route 86 towards the Greenbelt Metro Station. Once you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station, transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Ave. Get off at 'Gallery Place-Chinatown' station and transfer to the Metro Blue or Yellow Line towards Virginia. Get off at 'L'Enfant Plaza' station, then switch to the Metro Orange Line towards New Carrollton. Finally, disembark at 'Smithsonian' station and walk east on Independence Ave SW, then turn left onto 7th St SE to arrive at Eastern Market.
