If you are in downtown Laurel, start at the Laurel Town Center. Head southeast on Route 1 (Baltimore Ave) towards the intersection with Contee Road. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn left onto Contee Road. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Laurel Race Track Rd. Turn right onto Laurel Race Track Rd. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles, and you will find Laurel Park on your left at 198 Laurel Race Track Rd.

From Laurel Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Maryland Transit Administration's Bus Route 87. Board the bus heading towards Fort Meade. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop for the Laurel Park entrance on Laurel Race Track Rd. Walk about 5 minutes from the bus stop to the entrance of Laurel Park.
