If you are in downtown Laurel, start at the Laurel Town Center (located at 3800 Laurel Fort Meade Rd, Laurel, MD 20707). Head southeast on Laurel Fort Meade Rd towards Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and walk down until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Washington Blvd). Cross Route 1 at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight onto 4th St. Follow 4th St as it curves left into Riverfront Park, which will be on your right. The park entrance is clearly marked, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the Patuxent River.

Start at the Laurel Marc Train Station located at 300 1st St, Laurel, MD 20707. From the station, take the MTA Bus 17 towards the Columbia Town Center. Get off at the stop at Main St & 4th St. Walk east on 4th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Laurel Riverfront Park, which will be on your left. The bus runs every 30 minutes, and the park is open from 8 AM to 5 PM.
