Walking
If you're starting from the Laurel Town Center, head south on Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue) towards Montgomery Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Metro Subway Station. Follow the signs to the Green Line and take the train towards Branch Avenue. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Anacostia Station. From there, transfer to the A2 bus heading towards DC. Get off at the Lincoln Park stop. The park will be directly in front of you.
Public Transit
From Laurel, take the MTA commuter bus route 201 or 202 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Once you arrive at Greenbelt, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Branch Avenue. Ride for about 30 minutes and alight at the Anacostia Station. At Anacostia Station, take the A2 bus towards DC and get off at the Lincoln Park stop. The park will be right across the street.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Laurel. Start by heading south on Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Follow the road towards the Washington, DC area, which is about a 10-mile ride. Once you enter the city, continue towards Lincoln Park. The park is located at Washington, DC 20003. Use bike lanes where available for safety.
