From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop on Laurel Bowie Rd & Montgomery St. Take the MTA Bus 302 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line metro train towards Branch Avenue. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Smithsonian station. Train
Make your way to the Laurel train station located at 320 Laurel Ave. Take the MARC Train (Penn Line) towards Union Station. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and catch the Washington Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station, then transfer to the Yellow or Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Disembark at the Smithsonian station and follow the signs to the National Mall, which will lead you to the Smithsonian Castle at 1000 Jefferson Dr SW, Washington, DC 20560.
