    From Laurel, you can take the Metrobus route B30 from the Laurel Park & Ride located at 10000 Brooklyn Bridge Rd, Laurel, MD 20723. Board the bus heading towards the Greenbelt Metro Station. The ride should take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Greenbelt Metro Station, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Branch Avenue and ride for 14 stops until you reach the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From there, exit the station and walk northwest on 19th St NW towards Massachusetts Ave NW. Continue on Massachusetts Ave NW for about 0.5 miles until you reach 22nd St NW. Turn left onto 22nd St NW, and the Spanish Steps will be on your right.

    From Laurel, start at the Laurel Train Station at 1st St & Main St. Take the MARC Train on the Penn Line towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, transfer to the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont. Ride for 3 stops and get off at the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit the station and walk south on Connecticut Ave NW, then turn left onto 24th St NW. Continue walking until you reach 22nd St NW. Turn right onto 22nd St NW, and the Spanish Steps will be a short walk ahead.
