Bus
From central Laurel, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Board the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Route 17 bus heading towards Baltimore. Remain on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at Baltimore Arena. Transfer to the Light RailLink at the Baltimore Arena stop. Take the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley and alight at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes northeast on Eutaw Street until you reach The Walters Art Museum located at 600 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201.
Train
Walk to the Laurel Train Station located at 12401 Laurel Bowie Rd. Board the MARC train on the Penn Line towards Baltimore. After about 25-30 minutes, get off at the Baltimore Penn Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and take the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley. Disembark at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes northeast on Eutaw Street to reach The Walters Art Museum at 600 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Laurel. Begin your journey heading towards the Patuxent River Park trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Continue to bike along Route 1 heading north until you reach Baltimore.
