From Laurel, head to the Laurel Train Station located at 1 N Main St, Laurel, MD 20707. Catch the MARC Train on the Penn Line heading towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the Washington Union Station. From Union Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Then transfer to the Yellow or Green Line towards Greenbelt or Branch Avenue, respectively, and get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station. From there, it's a short walk to 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, which will take about 5 minutes.
Metro
Start by walking to the nearest bus stop for the L and L2 buses at Laurel Town Center. Take the L bus towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station, then board the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Transfer at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station. From there, walk about 5 minutes to your destination at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
Walking and Public Transport
Begin your journey by walking to the closest Laurel bus stop for the 86 bus route at 5th Street & Main Street. Board the 86 bus towards Silver Spring Metro Station and get off at the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Change to the Yellow or Green Line, and travel to the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station. Finally, it's a 5-minute walk to 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
