Bus
From Laurel, make your way to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Metrobus Route B30 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. Once there, transfer to the Metro's Green Line towards Branch Avenue. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, switch to the Red Line towards Glenmont, and ride for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Finally, exit the station and walk about 10 minutes northwest on Connecticut Ave NW. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wisconsin Ave NW; the Washington National Cathedral will be on your left at 3101 Wisconsin Ave NW.
Train
Start by heading to the Laurel Marc Train Station. Board a train on the MARC Penn Line heading towards Washington, D.C. Stay on the train for about 25 minutes until you arrive at Union Station. Once at Union Station, exit and follow signs to the Metro. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. From there, walk about 10 minutes northwest on Connecticut Ave NW, then turn left onto Wisconsin Ave NW. The Washington National Cathedral will be at 3101 Wisconsin Ave NW on your left.
Walking
If you are already in Laurel and prefer walking, head towards the Laurel Town Center. From there, make your way to the Laurel MARC Train Station and follow the train guidance above. Alternatively, if you're near the Laurel Library, walk towards the intersection of Route 1 and Main Street. You can take a bus from this area to Greenbelt Metro Station and then follow the bus instructions above to reach the Washington National Cathedral.
