Car
From the main parking areas in Sandy Point State Park, take the exit onto Sandy Point Road. Continue on Sandy Point Road until you reach the intersection with the main road (MD-50). Take a left onto MD-50 East. Follow MD-50 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the exit for MD-665, which will direct you towards the Bay Bridge. Continue on MD-665 until it merges into MD-2. Stay on MD-2 for about 1 mile. Turn right onto Bay Head Road and follow it for about 1 mile until you arrive at Bay Head Park located at 1661 Bay Head Rd, Annapolis, MD 21409. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Bay Head Park using public transportation, first take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus Route 70 from Sandy Point State Park. This bus will take you to the nearest metro station. From there, transfer to the MTA Light RailLink and take it toward Hunt Valley. Get off at the 'Annapolis' stop. From the Metro station, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 miles) or take a local taxi or rideshare service to Bay Head Park at 1661 Bay Head Rd, Annapolis, MD 21409. Be sure to check the bus and light rail schedules ahead of time and plan for any costs associated with the rideshare or taxi.
