Getting There

  • Car

    From Seneca Creek State Park, head east on MD-118 N/Boyle's Road. Continue on MD-118 N for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with I-270 S. Merge onto I-270 S toward Washington. After approximately 20 miles, take exit 1B to merge onto I-395 S toward Richmond. Continue on I-395 S for about 2 miles, then take exit 8A toward D Street NW. Follow signs for Columbus Circle/Union Station. When you exit, turn right onto Columbus Monument Drive NE. The Columbus Circle will be on your right.

  • Public Transportation

    From Seneca Creek State Park, you'll first need to get to the nearest Metro station. You can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Shady Grove Metro Station (approximately 6 miles). From Shady Grove, take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, exit the station and head towards Columbus Monument Drive NE. The Columbus Circle is located directly outside the station.
