Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From your location in Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Transit Center located at 8100 Georgia Ave. Once there, board the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus 301 towards Annapolis. This bus will take you directly to the Annapolis area. After approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour on the bus, disembark at the last stop in Annapolis, which is near the city center. From there, it's a short walk of about 0.5 miles to 211 Main St, where the Colonial Annapolis Historic District is located.

  • Metro and Bus

    Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station. Take the Metro's Red Line towards Glenmont and transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station to the Green Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at L'Enfant Plaza Station. From there, transfer to the MTA Bus 70 towards Annapolis. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop closest to 211 Main St. You will be a short walk away from the Colonial Annapolis Historic District.

  • Train

    Walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station and take the Red Line towards Glenmont. At Union Station, transfer to an Amtrak or MARC train heading towards Annapolis. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Annapolis station, exit and take a local bus or rideshare service to 211 Main St, where the Colonial Annapolis Historic District is located.
