From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for 8 stops and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Travel for 5 stops and get off at the King Street-Old Town Metro Station. Once you exit the Metro, head south on King Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Alfred St. Turn left onto S Alfred St, and you will find the Friendship Firehouse at 107 S Alfred St on your right.

From Silver Spring, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Metrobus line 30N, which goes towards the King Street Metro Station. Once you board, stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the bus stop at King Street and S Alfred St. Walk east on King Street until you reach S Alfred St. Turn left, and the Friendship Firehouse will be on your right at 107 S Alfred St.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start at the Silver Spring Town Center. Head south on Georgia Ave towards the intersection with Colesville Rd. Continue south and then turn onto Queen St. Walk towards the Silver Spring Metro Station and take the Metro to King Street-Old Town Station. After exiting the station, walk south on King Street for about 0.5 miles, and when you reach S Alfred St, turn left. The Friendship Firehouse will be on your right at 107 S Alfred St.
