From anywhere in Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8100 Eastern Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride the train for about 12 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Virginia. After two stops, get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes towards the Hirshhorn Museum located at Independence Ave SW & 7th St SW, Washington, DC 20560.
Bus
From your location in Silver Spring, find the nearest bus stop that services the Ride On bus routes. You can take the Ride On Route 15 towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. After a short ride, transfer to the Metro at the Silver Spring station. Board the Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for about 12 minutes. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Virginia, and ride for two stops.
