Travel for 5 stops and get off at the Forest Glen Metro Station. Exit the station and walk to the bus stop for the Montgomery County Ride On Bus. Board the Ride On Bus Route 23 towards 'Olney Park & Ride'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, until you reach the stop at Norwood Rd & Woodlawn Manor. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes north on Norwood Rd, and you will arrive at The Underground Railroad Experience Trail, located at 16501 Norwood Rd, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.

If you are closer to downtown Silver Spring, you can start your journey at the Silver Spring Civic Building located at 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring, MD 20910. From there, head north on Fenton Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with East-West Highway (MD 410). Cross East-West Highway and continue on Fenton which will eventually turn into Norwood Road after several blocks. Follow Norwood Road for about 2 miles; you will pass through residential areas.
