From the Silver Spring Transit Center, board the Metrobus F4 towards the Fort Totten Metro Station. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the 7th & D St NW stop. From there, walk 2 blocks south on 7th Street NW for about 5 minutes to reach the Peace Monument at Washington, DC 20004.

If you’re cycling, start from downtown Silver Spring and take the Capital Crescent Trail heading south. Follow the trail until you reach the end at Water Street in Georgetown. From there, navigate towards the National Mall by following the signs. Continue towards the U.S. Capitol and turn left onto Constitution Ave NW. Finally, make your way to 7th Street NW where the Peace Monument is located, approximately a 30-minute ride.

If you prefer walking, head south from the Silver Spring Metro Station. Walk down Georgia Avenue, then turn right onto Colesville Road. Continue until you reach Downtown Silver Spring. Once in downtown, follow the signs to the Metro and take the Red Line to Gallery Place-Chinatown.
