Metro
From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for about 6 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Mount Vernon Square. Ride for 2 stops and get off at L'Enfant Plaza. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the National Mall, and then head towards the Tidal Basin. The Thomas Jefferson Memorial will be on your right at 16 E Basin Dr SW.
Bus
Catch the Metrobus Z2 or Z6 at the Silver Spring Transit Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes, and get off at the stop for the National Mall. From there, walk towards the Tidal Basin, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial will be located at 16 E Basin Dr SW.
Walking
If you are staying in the downtown Silver Spring area, you can walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station, then take the Metro as described above. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it’s about a 30-minute walk to the Tidal Basin. Head south on Georgia Avenue, turn left on Wayne Avenue, and continue until you reach the Metro station. From there, follow the Metro directions to the memorial.
Bicycle
You can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Silver Spring. Start from downtown Silver Spring and head towards the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail south until you reach the National Mall area, then navigate towards the Tidal Basin. The Thomas Jefferson Memorial will be at 16 E Basin Dr SW.
