Public Bus
From Towson, head to the Towson Town Center bus stop located at 825 Dulaney Valley Rd. Take the MTA Bus Route 55 towards Annapolis. The bus will take you directly to the Annapolis Transit Center. Once you arrive at the Annapolis Transit Center, exit the bus and walk towards the intersection of West Street and Calvert Street. From there, turn onto Maryland Avenue, and walk approximately 0.4 miles to reach the Hammond-Harwood House at 19 Maryland Ave.

Light Rail
Make your way to the nearest Light RailLink station in Towson, which is at the Towson University stop. Board the Light RailLink train heading towards Baltimore and get off at the Baltimore Arena stop. Transfer to the MARC train or Amtrak train at the Baltimore Penn Station heading towards Washington D.C. Get off at the Annapolis station. From the Annapolis station, you can take a local bus or rideshare service to reach 19 Maryland Ave, which is about 1 mile away.

If you are staying near downtown Towson, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head south on York Road until you reach the intersection with Baltimore Avenue. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Towson Town Center. From the Town Center, head towards Dulaney Valley Road and catch the MTA bus Route 55 directly to Annapolis, or continue walking towards the intersection of West St and Calvert St, then turn onto Maryland Avenue to reach the Hammond-Harwood House.
