Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the Southern Maryland Transit Center. Here, transfer to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Metrobus Route 32. Board the 32 bus towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride this bus for about 35 minutes until you reach the stop at 22nd St NW and R St NW. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes northwest to reach the Spanish Steps located at 1725 22nd St NW, Washington, DC.
Metro Rail
Start at the nearest bus stop in Waldorf and board the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus Route 30 towards the Southern Maryland Transit Center. After approximately 25 minutes, arrive at the Southern Maryland Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Metrorail system by taking the bus (WMATA) from the transit center to the nearest Metro station. You can take the Route 32 Metrobus towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride for about 35 minutes until you reach the Dupont Circle Metro Station.
