To reach Dividing Creek Trail from anywhere in Wye Island Natural Resource Management Area, start by driving on Wye Island's main road, Wye Island Road. Continue following the signs towards the exit of the island. Once you reach the main road (MD-50), turn left onto MD-50 East. After approximately 4 miles, you will take the exit toward Queenstown/MD-404. Follow MD-404 for about 6 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on MD-404, and then take the exit towards MD-18/Queenstown. Merge onto MD-18 and follow it for about 2 miles until you reach Dividing Creek Trail on your right, just before the bridge over the creek.
