Car
If you're driving from Barnstable, take Route 6 East. Follow Route 6 for about 10 miles until you reach Exit 2 for Sandwich. After exiting, keep right at the fork and merge onto MA-130 N. Continue on MA-130 for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Ed Moffitt Drive, where you will find the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center at 60 Ed Moffitt Dr, Sandwich, MA 02563.
Public Transportation
To reach the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center using public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service (Route 1) from Hyannis. Get off at the Sandwich stop, which is near the Sandwich Village. From there, it’s about a 1-mile walk to the center. Head northeast on Main Street, then turn right onto Ed Moffitt Drive, where you will find the visitor center.
Car
If you are coming from Falmouth, take Route 28 North, then merge onto Route 151 East. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Route 130 South. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach Ed Moffitt Drive. Turn left onto Ed Moffitt Drive, and the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center will be on your right at 60 Ed Moffitt Dr, Sandwich, MA 02563.
