Getting There

• Bus

  From Barnstable Village, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main St. Take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus route 1 towards Chatham. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Chatham Town Center stop. From there, transfer to CCRTA bus route 2 and continue for another 10 minutes until you reach the Orleans Rd stop. The AWSC Shark Center Chatham is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; head north on Orleans Rd until you reach 235 Orleans Rd.

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Barnstable. Start from Barnstable Village, head south on Main St, and follow the bike paths towards Chatham. You will ride approximately 5 miles on the scenic bike trail, which leads you directly to Orleans Rd. Once you reach Orleans Rd, follow it to the northwest for about 1 mile until you reach the AWSC Shark Center at 235 Orleans Rd.

  If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a long walk, you can walk from Barnstable Village to the AWSC Shark Center. Start by heading south on Main St towards Chatham. After about 4 miles, you will reach Chatham Town Center. Keep walking straight, and you will see Orleans Rd. Turn left onto Orleans Rd and continue walking for about another mile until you reach 235 Orleans Rd, where the Shark Center is located.
