If you are in Barnstable Village, start by walking towards Main Street. Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 6A. Turn left onto Route 6A and continue for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with W Bay Road. Turn right onto W Bay Road. Follow W Bay Road for about 1 mile, and you will find the Osterville Historical Society on your left at 155 W Bay Rd.

From Barnstable Village, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. Take the bus route that goes towards Osterville (check the current schedule for exact route and times). Once you arrive in Osterville, disembark at the nearest stop to W Bay Road. From there, walk south along W Bay Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the Osterville Historical Society at 155 W Bay Rd on your left.
