Bicycle
If you're in central Barnstable, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head east on Main Street (Route 6A) until you reach the intersection with Route 132. Turn left onto Route 132 and follow it north. After about 2 miles, continue straight onto the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which will lead you to Provincetown. The Province Lands Bike Trail is accessible from the main bike paths.
Public Bus
Start at the nearest bus stop in Barnstable. Take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus towards Provincetown. The bus will take you directly to Provincetown. Once you arrive, ask the driver for directions to the Province Lands Bike Trail, which is located near the National Seashore entrance.
Walking
If you're staying in the central area of Barnstable, you can take a long walk to Provincetown. Head east on Main Street (Route 6A) and continue straight for approximately 5 miles. You'll pass through scenic landscapes and may even see some shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the Cape Cod National Seashore, look for signs indicating the Province Lands Bike Trail. Note that this option is quite a long walk, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
