    Start at the Barnstable Village area. Head north on Main Street towards Millway. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 6A. Turn left onto Route 6A, and then follow it for approximately 3 miles. Look for Sandy Neck Road on your right. Turn onto Sandy Neck Road and follow it until you reach the entrance of Sandy Neck Preserve.

    From Barnstable Village, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus route. Take the Route 1 bus towards Hyannis. Once in Hyannis, transfer to the Route 2 bus heading towards West Barnstable. Get off at the stop closest to Sandy Neck Road. Walk down Sandy Neck Road until you reach the preserve entrance.
